Robert M. Rankin, 87, of Kapoho, passed away on Tuesday, April 23, 2013. He was born in California and retired as a Poodle Groomer. Burial will be held on Wednesday, May 1, 2013 at the Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery 2 located at 110 Laimana Street in Hilo. Service at 12:00pm. He is survived by his wife Lillian Porter of Kapoho; son Kirk Rankin of Arkansas. Arrangements by Borthwick Hawaii Funeral Home, Hilo.
