Rogelio Tomas Reyes

Rogelio was born on October 8, 1954 in Balaoang, Philippines. He is predeceased by his father Rustico Reyes and Mother Ignacio Reyes. He is survived by his beautiful wife of 40 years, Elena Reyes and children, Rowena, Ramel, Rodney, and Granddaughter, Mikayla Vergara; Brothers Rolando (Anita) Reyes, and Orlando (Elma) Reyes; Sisters Luisa (Norie) Vicente, Maria (Julius) Palasigue, and Teresita (Tirso) Soliven, and multiple nieces and nephews.

Rogelio came to Hawaii to start his life in the mid 1980s where he would then bring his wife and children. He spent most of his years working as a houseman at what used to be the Kapalua Bay Hotel where he made many friends and colleagues. Once Kapalua Bay Hotel closed down he worked for various hotels and restaurants until he settled down at Maui Kaanapali Villas where he spent the last 15 years working.

On his days off you would find him venturing off with his wife Elena at various parts of the Island. He loved taking photographs and documenting his adventures on Facebook Live. He was known for being a hard worker, his infectious smile could light up the room, and his caring personality will be missed greatly.
