Shirley Chapman, 78 of Makawao, passed away on July 13, 2015 at her home under Hospice Care. She was born January 1, 1937 in Lahaina Maui and predeceased by her parents, daughter Cindi Hazen, sister Janet Dempsey, brothers Edwin (Barbara), Ronnie, Gary (Theone), Richard (Mildred) and Dennis Andrade.
Shirley is survived by her husband of 43 years, Ron Chapman, brothers Robert (Taiko), and George (Judith) Andrade, daughters Lisa (Kevin) Hipolito, Rhonda Mishos, sons Burton (Holly) Ferguson, Randall Chapman, Russell (Claudia) Chapman. She is also survived by 12 Grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Shirley was a stay at home mom or what she referred to as a domestic engineer. Her life was her family.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 28, 2015 at St. Joseph Church in Makawao; 8:30-9:00 for Family, 9:00-10:00 for the Public, followed by mass and lunch at the St. Joseph Club House.
