Stephen Lane Evans JR., 51, of Keaau, passed away on May 27th. Born in Junction City, Kansas, he moved to Hawaii in 2004 as a landscaper. He had mechanic skills and learned to dry wall and other carpentry skills. He loved playing his guitar, riding his motorcycle, his Hawaiian family and the beautiful island itself.
Services held in Hilo, but there will be another service in Michigan on July 10th.
He is survived by his mother, Maria (Frank) Scarsella of Michigan; son, Kody Lane Thomas Evans of Texas; daughters, Crystal Rose Evans of Virginia and Megan Marie Bronson of Michigan; brother Connor Evans of Oklahoma; sisters, Christine (Michael) Louise Hunt of Michigan, Callie Evans of Oklahoma and Cashe Evans of Oklahoma; 4 grandchildren, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents; father, Stephen L. Evans Sr.; and half-brother, Chain Evans.
