Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon on Thursday, January 17, 2013, at Ballard Family Mortuary; service will begin at 11:00 a.m.; cremation will follow; a private burial will be held.
Steven was a retired Broiler Operator at Pioneer Mill. He is survived by his mother, Isabella Chimura; step-mother, Natividad “Nana” Gaspar; daughters, Marissa (Hiram) Kaukani of Hilo, Stacey (Sherwin) Villon, Tracy (Patrick) Ihu; sons, Steven (Melanie) Gaspar, Simon (Sheryl) Gaspar; brothers, Abraham (Carolyn) Gaspar, Alan Gaspar, Anthony (Renee) Gaspar, Daniel Gaspar, Chris (Luzann) Gaspar, Phillip Limahai; sisters, Della (Bart-deceased) Dias, Isabelle Gaspar (deceased); and 15 grandchildren.
