Violet V. De Motta, 77, of Hilo, died May 12, 2012 at Hilo Medical Center Exteded Care Facility. She was born in Pepeekeo and retired as an egg farmer at Fujimoto Egg Farm and as a housekeeper. Funeral services are scheduled at St. Joseph Church on Thursday, May 24, 2012. Visitation at 9:00am, services at 10:00am. She is survived by her sons Robert R.( Mary) De Motta of Keaau, Wayne R. De Motta of Keaau; daughters Louise M. Oliveira of Pepeekeo, Bonny G. Rosa of Hilo, Linda M. (Herbert Jr.) Victorino of Kohala, Faye A. Miranda of Kailua-Kona; sisters Dorothy Farias of Hilo, Genevieve Badua of Hilo; 18 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
