June 1, 1932 – October 24, 2015
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Grace Larson on October 24, 2015 in Kamloops, BC. Grace was born June 1, 1932 in Brandon, Manitoba She is lovingly remembered by her daughters, Karen (Jeff), Kristine (Ian), and Corinne (Grant) and her children’s father Roy Larson. She will be missed by her grandchildren, Lauren (Shane), Derek (Bri-Ann), Alison, and Shawna (Wes) and 4 great grandchildren, Harlow, Ella, Zoey and Lochlan. She is also survived by her brothers Gary (Marlise) Carefoot, John Darvill and sister Gwen (Clarke) Peever. She was predeceased by her mother, Florence Carefoot, her father and mother, John and Treva Darvill and brother, Edward Darvill. Grace will also be missed by her dear friends, Winnie McColl (her best friend for 62 years) and John McKee (Kamloops, BC).
Grace was a woman of many talents and passions. She was a caring nurse and then when the travel bug bit, she became a travel consultant to fufill her passion of traveling the world. She shared her travel experiences with us through her painting and cooking.
As per Grace’s wishes, there will be no service. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Alzheimer’s Society of Canada in her name.
