Mason William Mullaney

It is with the heaviest of hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Mason William Mullaney, on October 31, 2025 at Royal Inland Hospital in Kamloops, BC.

Forever 26, Mason was born at Royal Inland Hospital on November 13, 1998 with his identical twin brother Markcus. Mason will be forever missed by his family and friends. He is survived by his mom Angie Mullaney-Hazlehurst (Eli), twin brother Markcus Mullaney, brother Austin (Claudia & Stevie) Hazlehurst, his sisters Mahlayah (Mullaney) Ortiz & Dallas Hazlehurst. Mason is also survived by his dad Curtis Prafke, stepdad Scott Andrew, Aunty Jessie (Mike, Jazmyne & Everly) Taylor, Grandma Ann Hahr and of course his family by choice Dawn Harestad, Theron Lafebvre & Dalton. As well as many other friends in Kamloops.

The family would like to extend sincere gratitude to the Paramedics that attended to Mason, the ER team & Dr B. Reid as well as the ICU nurses & Dr Prasad at RIH, Celine and the BC Transplant team, just to name a few. We are forever grateful for the compassionate care given to Mason and support to his family during this most devastating time.

Mason was able to pass on the gift of life with organ donation, successfully donating his heart, lungs, kidneys, liver and pancreas. Please if you can, consider becoming an organ donor the impact is life saving.
