It is with great sadness that the family of Maureen Watson (Jenkins) announces her peaceful passing after a brief illness, on Saturday, June 26th, at the age of 88 years. Maureen will be lovingly remembered by her children Janis (John), Brad (Heather) and Brent (Ang); her grandchildren Brett, Shelby and Cameron and her two great-grandchildren Trae and Casey. Maureen was predeceased by her husband Ken Watson.
Maureen was born and raised in Victoria, B.C. As the wife of an RCMP member, she had the opportunity to live in many places in B.C: Penticton, Chilliwack, Boston Bar, Dawson Creek, Quesnel, Kamloops and Victoria – making Kamloops her home for the past 26 years. Maureen and Ken spent many winters travelling to their home in Yuma, Arizona which always brought them great pleasure.
She was passionate about the welfare of animals and held a special place in her heart for all of the dogs she loved over the years.
Memorial donations in memory of Maureen may be made to the BCSPCA Kamloops (https://spca.bc.ca/locations/kamloops/).
