Ronald Francis Kristoff

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ronald Francis Kristof, who passed away on October 24, 2024, in Merritt, British Columbia, at the age of 77. Born on January 6, 1947, Ronald was known for his kind, funny, honest, and hardworking nature. He dedicated many years of his career to the BC Department of Highways.

Ronald's passion for the outdoors extended beyond his profession. He was an avid outdoorsman, fisherman, hunter, and gardener, always eager to explore and cherish nature's beauty. These activities brought him immense joy and peace throughout his life.

He is survived by his son, Dan Jones (Leslie), and his granddaughters, Alexandra, Jordan, and Taya; his daughter, Lori Jones, and grandson, Sharman; his brothers, Gerald, Mervin, and Larry; and his sister, Betty.

Ronald's life was a testament to the values of dedication and joy in one's pursuits, whether on the water or in the tranquility of nature. His story is cherished by those who knew him and will continue to inspire all who learn of his unwavering spirit and love for life.

As per Ronald’s request, there will be no formal ceremony. He chose to be cremated, and his ashes will be spread according to his wishes.
