Dr. Ruby Dunstan of Lytton, BC passed away peacefully on January 10, 2026, at the age of 84. She is survived by her Sister Rita Johnny, Daughters Denise & Karen Dunstan, Son Darryl Dunstan, raised by Georgina Johnny & Sally Dunstan, Grandchildren John (Tahira) Dunstan, Sara (Thomas) Dunstan, Bryce Johnny, Tyson Justice & Victoria Justice, Great grandchildren: Raymond, Nadell, Raven, Karina, Gianna, Parker, Landon, Athena and Numerous Nieces, Nephews, as well as many friends and relatives across turtle island.
She is predeceased by her parents Sarah (Blachford), Andrew Johnny, Sr. her husband, Willoughby (Spud) Dunstan & Son Eugene R Dunstan, Siblings Evelyn Huntington, Shirley Shackelly, Andrew Johnny Jr. & Ann Sarah Johnny.
The Wake will be at Ruby’s Residence January 14 & 15, 2026. A Funeral Service will be held on January 16, 2026, at 10 AM at 391 Spud Rd. on Westside.
Reverend Angus Muir will be officiating, with traditional prayers & songs by Bev Phillps & Nellie Joe.
