My husband and I were married 44 years and 45 years together. He's a wonderful man and best friend. We did practically everything together and he will be sadly missed. He's a man of many trades, successful and accomplished plenty. He is a retired CN engineer of 33 years and he loved his job. Before I met him years ago he was in the army for 7 years as a sergeant.
He had his own apartment Block in Kamloops for years. He's a very active and ambitious man. He loved outdoor sports, especially golf that was his love years ago. He had four handicap, and even won trophies. He was a realtor, a cook that's just a couple I can name off hand. He was well liked by all. In Victoria BC he was an apartment manager and liked meeting people and helping out.
He treated me like a princess at times, always made sure his little bunny was taken care of and never left out. He was a kind, loving gentle man.
We did some traveling together. We lived in Victoria for 28 years and then moved to Chemainus BC. He worked for the Royal Canadian Legion and managed their old folks apartment block for 9 years.
Later on we moved to the USA for 9 years. Oh! Excuse me, that was before this. Colorado, Arizona and Las Vegas was the most interesting indeed.
We have a little saying of course he was semi-retired there.
We golfed, swam, barbecued and shopped till we dropped.
Thanks to my dear wonderful Willy, I wouldn't have seen it or experienced it otherwise.
I have some wonderful dear memories for the rest of my life.
God bless him always.
