Age 88, Alvin Wai Sheong Young, of Honolulu passed away on August 29, 2024. He is survived by his wife, Ruth and her children, Danica Swanson and Kendall Fick; his sisters, Thelma Lee and Alvina Leu and many nieces and nephews. Three sisters and one brother preceded him in death. He was an aircraft sheet metal worker at Hickam Air Force Base for 37 years and after retirement, he attended school to become a licensed massage therapist. He was a avid ballroom dancer and enjoyed traveling the world with his wife. Visitation at 9am on Wednesday, October 16, 2024 at Hawaiian Memorial Park Chapel in Kaneohe. Services at 10am on Wednesday, October 16, 2024. Entombment to follow at Hawaiian Memorial Park.
