Ariah ‘Ale’alani Arnold-Ilar, 1, treasured daughter of Shanon and Jenalyn Arnold, beloved sister of Hōkūpā and Ho’oheno, and cherished granddaughter of Nikki Arnold, Jo Ann Balcobero, Robert and Kim Ilar, passed away on March 5, 2022, about a month shy of her second birthday.
Ariah defied many odds while battling a rare chromosome disorder called Trisomy 13, otherwise known as Patau Syndrome. A plethora of medical interventions were necessary for Ariah’s survival, but that never stopped her from putting on a smile every day and bringing joy to her family. She will be forever missed and never forgotten. Who knew such a tiny human being could leave such an enormous impact on many lives? All the glory to God for blessing our family with Ariah and strengthening our faith in Him, through her.
“We know that in everything God works for the good of those who love him. They are the people he called, because that was his plan.” -Romans 8:28 (NCV).
