Cecilia Kauilani Hatsumi Ramiro passed away peacefully on April 4, 2026, at the age of 66, surrounded by her loving family.
Kaui, as she was known to many, was a homemaker who took great pride in caring for her family. She enjoyed crafting and loved making decorations for gatherings. She gave everything she had to the people she loved and cherished creating memories with her family and friends.
She is survived by her husband, Sam Ramiro; her children, Sammy (Malia), Shawntay (Richard), and Shaine; her grandchildren, Ho‘ola (CJ), Shawnlin, Rayna, Shaina, and Sophia; her great-grandchildren, Tatum, Teagan, and Thalia; and her siblings, Rudy (Shiela) Valdez and Melisa (Gordon) Usui.
Kaui’s traditions, laughter, and love will continue to live on through the many lives she touched. She will be deeply missed by her family and all who knew her.
