He was born in Wailuku Maui. He attended Kamehameha Schools and graduated in 1965. He attended BYU Provo, Church College of Hawaii, and is a veteran of the Vietnam War. He served in the army from 1967-1969. He earned a Silver Star and the Army Commendation Medal for gallantry in action.
He was a loving husband, father, Papa and brother. He is survived by wife of 47 years, Maydell; son Reagan (Christine) and their daughters Sadie and Avery; daughter Amber Tupou (Buddy) and their children Hunter, Alexis, Ryder and Jax; sister Poni Morgan Daines and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Preceded in death by his father, David Morgan, Sr.; mother Marjorie Alo and sister Ku'uipo Chai.
