Elsie emigrated to Hawaii when it was still a Territory of Hawaii in 1940. She spent a short period of time working at Hickam during WWII and met her husband while traveling to and from work on the King St. busline. He ran the grocery store at the end of the busline. She spent the last years prior to retirement working as a cashier-hostess at the old McCully Chop Suey.
She is survived by daughters: Rebecca M.L. Ho, Carol M.N. Claes (David); son: Leonard W.K. Ho (Grace); grandchildren: Richard Ho (Mabel), TeriAnn Kashiwa, Brandon Ho (Alette), Barney Ho (Jastine), Belissa Ho Moren (Adam), Bixby, Ian Sharping (Janice), Lee Sharping (Jiao), Eli Sharping, Nicole Sato, Noelani Sato; great-granchildren: Monica Ho, Jayson Ho, Ethan Ho, Logan Ho, Ella Sharping,, Harper Sharping, Cora Sharping, Joshua Ho, Sophia Ho, Avery Moren-Ho, Kai Sharping, Leo Sharping, Mason Sharping.
She is pre-deceased by her husband: Yet Kui Ho, daughters: Rachel M.L. Kashiwa, Cynthia M.H. Ho; son: Weiman W.M. Ho; grand-daughter: SheriAnn Ho.
