Glenn grew up in Waianae and later moved to Pearl City to attended Pearl City High School. During his high school career was often known as a typical athlete, active on the football field, baseball diamond and basketball court. He was extremely talented in all that he did.
In 1978, soon after High School graduation, Glenn joined the United States Army in 1978 as a Wheel Vehicle Power General Mechanic. Glenn served in the United States Army for 17 years, advancing in his career, traveling the world with his family and continuing to broaden his talents. He also spent time coaching in baseball while in the Army, later being nicknamed “Whatevas” for his easy going personality. In 1995, he was discharged from the Army as a Motor Sargent.
After leaving the United States Army, Glenn continued to do the things he loved. He spent his time fishing, crabbing, sewing, craft projects, being a handy man, and mechanic, always helping any and everyone. Anything he set his mind to do, he did, eventually earning the name “Jack of All Trades, Master of None”.
