Irene is survived by her husband, Jaime Daoang. Her five children: Nadine (Bart) Hummel, Robin Daoang, Danielle (Daniel) Hashimoto, Golden Daoang, and Dayne (Jaymie) Daoang. Irene was a proud grandmother to her six grandchildren: Aaron, Kekoa, Kanani, Aria, Serra, and Tristen, as well as a loving great-grandmother to her seven great-grandchildren: Dayton, Destiny, Deisha-Lei, David-Jeremiah, Dariana, Danielle, and Dayne-Jordan.
She is also survived by her five siblings: Anna (Dennis) Masanda, Susie (Mike) Ngim, Marie (Tom) Louden, Durango (Roy) Dorcich, and Todd (Michelle) Sismar.
Irene graduated from Saint Francis School. She worked in accounting at Spencecliff, became an entertainer at Germaine’s Luau, and then ended her career in accounting at Centerplate. Irene enjoyed gardening, playing on her tablet, and word search puzzles. She will be missed dearly.
A service is scheduled for Monday, December 9th at 9:30am at Hawaiian Memorial Park Chapel. Aloha attire requested. All are welcomed to attend and celebrate the beautiful life she had.
