Julie (Juliet) Camara, 90, of Kaneohe, passed peacefully on February 20, 2026, surrounded by family and love. Born in Puunene, Maui, she was known to her family as Mom, Grams, and Gigi. Her family meant the world to her. She was an amazing baker and cook who shared her love of food with family and friends. She was a homemaker and later worked as custodian for the State of Hawaii at King Intermediate and Benjamin Parker Elementary, where she rered in 2000. She was preceded in death by her husband of 36 years, Bobby (Robert) Camara, and survived by her 3 children, Laurie, Darren (Rebecca) and Wendy, 8 grandchildren, Rae, Warren (Tani), Kekai (Kat), Jorden (Casey), Robert, Josh (Krystal), Sarah (Eddy), and Kaitlen, and 10 great grandchildren, Vitor, Caydence, Maverick, Landen, Haze, Hayden, Hope, Halo, Heva and Taziyani,
sisters Dorothy and Carol, nieces and nephews, and extended family Kevin, Chasity and Noah.
Services will be held on Saturday, May 2, 2026 at Saint Ann Church, 46-129 Haiku Road, Kaneohe, Hawaii.
