Lamont Morgan Lindsey

Lamont Morgan Lindsey, age 73, passed away on November 23, 2025. He was born on April 22, 1952 in Honolulu, Hawaii.

Lamont was a devoted husband, dad and papa. He is survived by his loving wife, Yolanda Lindsey; his sons, Craig (Melissa), Jeff, and Lee; and his grandchildren, Kylee, Kayla, Kiana, Kimani, Taelor, Keli’i, Teia, Talei and Ka’ena.

After 35 years of hard work and dedication in his trade, Lamont retired as a seasoned elevator mechanic journeyman. He was known for his kindness, humility, strong work ethic, and quiet strength.

Lamont was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. His beliefs guided his life and service to others.

In his free time, he enjoyed playing chess and foosball and was a devoted sports fan. He found joy in thoughtful competition and time spent with family.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 9, 2026, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Kapolei Ward, Makakilo Stake Center, located at 92-900 Makakilo Drive, Kapolei, HI 96707.

Viewing will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., followed by services at 11:00 a.m.

Burial 1:00 p.m. at Hawaiian Memorial Park Cemetery, 45-425 Kamehameha Highway, Kaneohe, HI 96744.

Lamont Morgan Lindsey will be remembered for his integrity, faith, and unwavering love for his family. His legacy lives on in all who knew and loved him.
