Moses E. Kalauokalani, age 83, passed away on January 26, 2025. He is survived by Naomi Kalauokalani, beloved wife of 57 years, daughters Leila/ Kau’I (Ed) Akiona, Li-a/Kalei (Tim) McCanna, son Kekoa (Michele) Kalauokalani, grandchildren Tehani, Poliahu, Kawelo (Serena), Lilinoe, Duke, Kaycee, Kaylia, EmaLena, and Stylez, and great grandchildren Stella and Baby. He was born in Honolulu and graduated from Farrington Highschool c/o 1959. He retired from Hawaiian Electric and the Hawaii Army National Guard. He was a member of St. John’s by the Sea Episcopal Church, member of Hui Kukăkukă, and ʻŎlohe Lua O Păku’ialua. He traveled the world and will be remembered for his sense of humor, ability to wala’au, make lifetime friends and his generous nature. A Celebration of Life will be held at Hawaiian Memorial Park and Cemetery on March 10, visitation begins at 9am followed by a 10am service, and burial will proceed after.
