Randy was born on July 2, 1941, to Minokichi and Kameno Fujioka in Wailuku. He was the sixth of their seven children. After graduating from Baldwin High School in 1959, he joined the Army.
His Army service ended in San Francisco, California in 1962. There, he started his career overseeing computer operations in the banking industry.
In 1965 he married Virgina. They had one daughter, Audrey.
After retiring at 50, Randy moved back to Wailuku to help care for his mother. He enjoyed his retirement playing golf three times per week, reading, and traveling the world with his siblings.
Randy is survived by his daughter, Audrey, his siblings: Clara, May (sister-in-law), Harry, Nancy (sister-in-law), James, Myrna, and Irving, and his many nieces and nephews.
