David Franklin, 66, of Kansas City, Kansas, passed away at LifeCare Center of Kansas City, Kansas on Saturday, March 29, 2025 surrounded by family and friends. David was born on June 27, 1958 in Kansas City, Kansas. He was preceded in death by his Mother Eula Mae Franklin and his Father Adolph David Franklin, Sr.
David joined the U.S Marine Corp shortly after graduating from J.C. Harmon High School. David was an avid and loyal K.C. Chiefs fan. He was loved by many and always considered to be the life of the party. He loved socializing with his friends and attending family events. David will truly be missed by everyone.
He leaves to mourn his passing his Sisters, Christine Lasley (John), Debra Franklin, Pam Franklin Word, Susan Franklin, Kim Franklin, Ann Franklin (Teresa), Karen Franklin Williamson, Bonus sister Jan Love and his Brother, Michael Franklin; his Nieces and Nephews, Del Brown (Aaron), Chanda Woods (Darryl), James Craig Davis, Aris Word Jones (Jason), Jason Word, Alyssa Franklin Herron, Turner Williamson, Kyle Scott and a host of great nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
