Barbara Ann Counts

Barbara Ann Counts, 70, passed away peacefully at Providence Medical Center, after a long battle of Lung Cancer on November 8, 2025. She was born on December 20, 1954 to Catherine Hauser and Edward M. Hauser in Parkston, South Dakota. Graduated at Parkston, South Dakota.

Barbara is survived by her 2 brothers: William Hauser of Aurora, Colorado and Dan Hauser (Brenda) of Mitchell South Dakota. Along with 3 sisters: Gin Hauser of Shawnee, Kansas, Mary Hynes of Schuyler, Nebraska, and Carol (Dale) Keffeler of Lenexa, Kansas. Her 3 children: Jamie Coleman of Kansas City, Kansas, Jeremiah Coleman of Lenexa, Kansas, and Brian Coleman of Kansas City, Kansas. Along with 5 grandchildren: Bria Walker, Darrien Walker, Ivana Ramos, Claudette Ramos and Renato Ramos.

Barbara is preceded in death by her parents Catherine and Edward Hauser and husband Julius Counts.

Barbara was married to Julius counts in 2006 and throughout their years of marriage, they drove trucks across the states together and loved to go fishing.

A visitation will be held at Chapel Hill - Butler Funeral Home, located at 701 North 94th Street, Kansas City, Kansas, 66112 on November 22, 2025, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
