Clara Butler

Clara E. Butler, 92, formerly of Kansas City, Kan., died Tuesday, August 2, 2016, at North Care Hospice House. Remarks and meditation will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 7, at the Porter Funeral Home, 1835 Minnesota Ave., Kansas City, Kan., where friends may call from 1-2 p.m. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions to North Care Hospice. Clara was born Aug. 6, 1923, in Koshkonong, Mo., and had lived most of her life in Kansas City, Kan. She was preceded in death by husband, George A. Butler, son, George N. Butler and granddaughter, Jessika Butler. Clara is survived by three daughters, Joyce Doolittle and husband, Charlie, Belton, Mo., Jeanette Doolittle and husband Randy, Richmond, Mo., Vanessa Callahan and Robbie Earl, Kansas City, Kan., son, Donald Butler and wife Pat, Kansas City, Mo., daughter-in-law, Kathy Butler, Urbana, Mo., her sister, Margie Riggs, Grain Valley, Mo., and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
