I knew Cliff and his family thru my son’s family and sports. He was a prince of a man.  We adored him.  A great family.  Lots of good memories.

It is so hard to see this happen to coach Cliff  he was  such an awesome man to everyone that had the honor to meet him  and be around him I am so sorry this happened. Definitely one of the greatest men in the world, God bless you all. 

Mr.Rangel was always so nice to Sean and I from the jump. Sean seen Mr. Rangel as a second father figure and I could tell why the moment I met him. I had only met Cliff Sr. One time before I out of luck got the pleasure to serve him and Melissa for one of their anniversary dinners awhile back. At the time I had only met him once and didn’t remember him but he remembered me instantly greeting me calling me “Mija” as if we were family! I looked at him a little confused and apologized for not remembering where I knew him from. He then mentioned they were Cliffs parents (seans best friend) . I’ll always carry the memory of being able to help them celebrate their wedding anniversary. He loves his Melissa and family so much he had flowers a card, gift and balloons at their table. Along with treating her to some great food. It was the cutest thing I had ever witnessed and was such a pleasure that evening getting to serve them. I’ll always remember it. I hope Sean and I are lucky enough to have a great marriage and family like theirs. All our love and prayers to our second family!💙🙏🏽

It saddens us to hear of Cliffs passing but our Christan/Catholic
values teaches us that we will see him again.  He was a great person in this life as many who knew him
have said he and Melissa welcome our family (Eskina's) with love, compassion, hospitality and even allowed us to meet the extended Rangle family so thank you for this. Cousin Chris had a heart of gold, always opened his home to his cuzzins from Omaha. You were one of the best and will truly be missed. Sit with the angels Cuz. 

Chris, was a great guy.  I have known him since I was 13 and honestly he always had a joke or a smile.  Thou we have not seen each other in quite awhile.  I have funny memories and good times spent with him and his family.  My you rest in internal paradise and may God wrap his arms around all his family and friends.  Your family will carry on your legacy.  Job well done Chiris.

A very nice and loving guy. Everyday at work he would tell me everyday with a fist bump, "be careful"! As a African American man, he knew how difficult it was for me to work as an electrician. He was a spiritually minded person who always kept Gods word on his desk. For the family, I just wanted to give some encouragement. Please Read John 5:28, 29. Here Jesus gives us comforting words that there is going to be a resurrection of all those who fell asleep in death. Revelations 21:1-4 tells us that there is going to be a time when death will be done away with; also the pain that comes with loosing a loved one in death will not come to mind. Unfortunately, we still suffer these things so that's why God promises to do all those things in the future, in better conditions. Read Psalms 37:9-11, 29. Here, God, in his due time will get ride of wicked people on this earth in order to bring about peace. Peaceful conditions on earth, without death, pain, war, and suffering will last forever! according to the scriptures Cliff will be resurrected in those wonderful conditions, with his family forever!

I worked with Cliff at KU. I taught him how to answer phones and make work orders, he taught me about the computer system that controls temps and such. Through all of this teaching, a friendship blossomed. He would buy us cinnamon rolls sometimes and I'm not sure I will ever be able to eat a cinnamon roll  again without thinking of him. I've enjoyed working with Cliff and will truly miss him.

I remember my  cousin  Chris 
from their /our Colorado and kansas trips spending time at grandmas or at the park picnicking chatting  with  blankets we would laid on the grass sitti g and waiting for what's to happen next like throwing the football ,softball,baseball around changeling wrestling  around with each other ,
Chris was so into sports i remember going to watch him play ,I remember how rough he and his brothers were ,we would be pushing each other around , testing eachothet"Lol 
I remember how high he use to pull his socks up with those skinny legs of his  up to his knees "the ones with  all white and 3 black or was it 2 striped black (converse) looking like ones okay ( old school) they actually looked cool ,but i wouldnt tell him that "lol  
that great big beautiful smile of his ,he knew it ,he  knew he had that charm and the smile to go with it ,he used it to his advantage sometimes he was a "jokesters"along with  his brothers  they were all spectacular in anything they did  ,I remember looking forward to seeing all the boy cousins from Uncle Richard and Aunt Sarah and with us there were so many girl cousins from Ralph ( his brother) and Josephine ( josie) his aunt 
 So many fond memories,were we all  unseperatable at one time , cousin vic was older ,but loving as well and fun 
  It was my senior year and sister lupes junior year when we were blessed with the opportunity to have spent once again some more  great , fun , moments and as big brothers do they were protective and we loved that about Chris  the way he'd say it and the way he came across ,I always treasure that walking the halls of JC Harmon ,playing on the hill from there old  school i only wished we kept in touch more "I/we Nina, lupe me Toni

My uncle was a heating and cooling man with his own business, he was a man that knew how to change the atmosphere, just like him installing an air conditioner/furnace etc. I learn from this that I have the opportunity to change the atmosphere where ever I Go. Thank you uncle Chris for making a difference every time you showed up. We knew you were around because of who you are.

Went to middle school and High school with Chris, played many sports (organized and pickup games) he was always smiling and a great guy to be around, my deepest condolences to his wife, children and all Rangels, such a sad loss, he will definitely be missed...God Bless you all

Cliff and I worked at the hospital for four years together on 3rd shift. He was always positive, smiling,  and willing to do whatever it took to get the job done. He was a straight up dude. We will all miss him. 

I went to Middle school and High school with Chris and he was the kindest, sweetest guy. Always had a smile on his face.

I met Cliff a little over 3 years ago when I started working with him at the hospital. We became pretty good friends over those 3 years, and I will remember him as a very genuine person that loved his family and friends more than words can express.  My deepest condolences and prayers go out to his family. He will surely be missed. 

I have known Chris since the early early days of rosedale and the rosedale cougars which was the football team his dad coached.  The love and support given from him and his family have been a life lesson for me because I saw and felt a true family structure with The Rangels. Chris Rangel was a good person and a better friend 🙏😢. Blessings to my extended Family!

Sending our heartfelt condolences to Melissa and the kids, and both families; we are so sorry to hear about your sudden loss. God speed to Cliff and prayers for your family and friends. Because of Cliff we quickly realized how special your family is and you were always our favorite neighbor when we lived in Piper Estates, just a few houses down. Cliff always had a smile on his face while waving to all that drove past his beautiful home. Cliff was a bright light and will be sorely missed. When your youngest was born, I’ll never forget 2 of Cliff’s favorite sayings: 1- “Meeelk”, and 2- “Elvis has left the building”; both of course referring to baby Christian, who’s now a young man. Cliff took amazing care of his house and yard while working 2 full-time jobs and always providing for his family with great pride and purpose. Cliff is one of the hardest working men I’ve ever known yet the yard and house always looked beautiful. I still don’t know when Cliff slept. We’re so blessed that our kids went to school together and we spent those impressionable years together. Cliff would drop everything to help anyone out, stranger or friend. And I never saw Cliff upset with anyone. From coaching football, to being involved in the neighborhood and school, while working 2 jobs, and taking care of his family; Cliff always had style and grace. Cliff was always looking sharp. Cliff was the real deal and he always gave the shirt off his back and all that he had to help others out and make everyone happy. We love and miss you Cliff-- The Powell’s (Cris, Jordan, and Logan).
