Mike was born on April 1, 1955 to Stanley and Mary Billups in Kansas City Kansas. In his earlier years, Mike was a union painter for Childress Painting Co. With this experience, he then became a self-employed business owner of his own painting Company. Also during this time, he would use his talents to flip houses. Mike was always such a hard worker! When he was younger, some of Mike’s hobbies included anything to do with traveling, boating, camping, and canoeing. He would love to bring new people to float down the river with him! He also would take his family on as many vacations as he could. Anyone that knew Mike knew that his grandchildren were his world and the love he had for his siblings was unbreakable. Mike was an amazing family man and would always do whatever he could to brighten someone’s day and make them smile.
