Donna Kathryn DeGraw (Pinkelman) of Kansas City, Kansas completed her journey of life on February 27th, 2023. Donna was born on May 25th, 1944 to Edwin H. Pinkelman and Elsie Pinkelman (Porth) in Kansas City, Kansas. She attended Christ the King grade school and was a graduate of Washington High school where she met her beloved husband of nearly 60 years, Jim R. DeGraw, Sr. The two were married on July 6th, 1963 and lived in Germany where Jim was stationed while serving in the army. They returned in 1965 to begin their family, having two sons, Jimmie R. DeGraw, Jr. and Wesley David DeGraw. Donna worked in the banking and mortgage business for nearly 30 years. She took great pride in raising her two rambunctious boys and never missed their endless sporting and school events. She was an avid reader and loved doing her yardwork. Her true passion though were her two grandchildren. At a moments notice she could provide endless stories and photo albums of her two "babies". Donna was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She was truly the glue that binds and will be forever in our hearts.
Donna is survived by her husband Jim R. DeGraw, Sr., her two sons Jimmie R. DeGraw, Jr. and Wesley David DeGraw, her two grandchildren Mitchell Andrew DeGraw and Macey Ann DeGraw, her brother Edward and his wife Kathy Pinkelman, her sister-in-law Dorothy Pinkelman and many nieces and nephews. She was proceeded in death by her parents Edwin and Elsie Pinkelman and her brother David Pinkelman.
Donna will be laid to rest in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, 701 North 94th Street, Kansas City, Kansas 66112.
