She spent her early adult years working at Southwestern Bell and the Chrysler Corporation. After having her 2 sons, she was a stay at home Mom for several years before she started working for USD 500 from where she retired on January 1, 2003, after 40 plus years. She enjoyed playing Bingo.
Esther is preceded in death by Charles N. Stack to whom she was married for 50 years. Her Mother Ada Rutt and her Father Howard Lugenbeal. Her companion Clyde Clarke and Daughter In Law Tammy L. Stack.
Survivors include her Son and Daughter In Law, Charles A. and Susan M. Stack, Son Michael W. Stack and Grandson Jeffery A. Stack. Along with Great Granddaughter Gabriella M. Stack. Grandson Michael W. Stack Jr. and Granddaughter Amy L. Stack
A visitation for Esther will be held Thursday, January 23, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Chapel Hill - Butler Funeral Home, 701 North 94th Street, Kansas City, Kansas 66112, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM.
Esther will be laid to rest in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, 701 North 94th Street, Kansas City, Kansas 66112; Garden of Valor; Section: B, Lot: 56, Grave: 4.
