Frances was born May 29, 1945 in Kansas City, Kansas to Raymond and Eulah Long. She graduated from Wyandotte High School. Fran worked as a Wyandotte County, Kansas legal secretary.
Fran married Walt, the love of her life in 1973. The couple enjoyed 49 years of marriage.
Frances was preceded in death by her father and mother Raymond and Eulah Long, brother Don Long.
She is survived by her husband Walter Windscheffel of KC,KS, Daughters Kimberly Miller (Allan) of KC,MO, Tammy Rader, Audrey Bauer (Travis) of Olathe, KS, six grandchildren and five great grandchildren. As her family, we are deeply saddened by her passing but are greatly comforted by her faith.

Services will be held Thursday, January 19th, 2023 at 1:00 pm at Chapel-Hill Butler Mausoleum Chapel, 701 N 94th Street, Kansas City, Kansas 66112.
