Grace C. Fore

Grace C. Fore, of Kansas City, Kansas passed away October 15, 2014 at the age of 84. She was born in Clarksville, Tennessee to George and Martha Chester and had one sister, Dorothy C. Martin. She attended Austin Peay University, where she met and married Jack R. Fore and they had three children. Through the years, they lived in Clarksville, Tennessee; Orlando, Florida; Lombard, Illinois; Franklin, Tennessee; Pompano Beach, Florida; and Kansas City, Kansas. Grace was a Physical Education teacher and taught in the states of Tennessee, Florida, Illinois, and Kansas. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and sister. She is survived by her children, Jackie (Bill) Huffman of Kansas City, Kansas; Dale (Linda) Fore of Greenwood, Missouri and Martie (Steve) Fouts of Basehor, Kansas; granddaughter, Natalie Huffman and grandsons, Nathan Huffman, Jack Fore, Jake and Travis Fouts; great-granddaughters, Haley Huffman, Kyndall Perry, Annalise and Lilly Fouts; a niece and nephews. The family is suggesting memorials to Living Water United Methodist Church at 3001 North 115th Street in Kansas City, Kansas, where she was a member.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 21st at Chapel Hill-Butler Funeral Home, 701 North 94th Street, Kansas City, Kansas; with visitation preceding the service from 1:00-2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
