Harlan L. (Jack) Hurst, 71, left all of us February 8, 2014. Jack was born December 30, 1942 in the family home in Kansas City, Kansas to Ma and Pa Hurst. Jack was a truck driver for many years. He enjoyed his Bud and his Old West and Indian artifacts as well, as spending time with his friends on the front porch. He will be missed by many. He is survived by his sons Stacy and Jack Jr. of Kansas City, Kansas, 3 sisters and many other family members. Graveside services will be held Friday, February 14, 2014 at 1:00 P.M. at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens located at 701 N. 94th Street in Kansas City, Kansas. Donations to help with expenses may be made to any U.S. Bank in C/O Harlan L. (Jack) Hurst.
