

She worked as a cook at Wyandotte High School in Kansas City, Kansas and retired in 1996. She was a member of St. Luke’s Lutheran Church in Kansas City, Kansas and had many friends.
Helen was preceded in death by her husbands, John William Tiszka and Glen Wilson, two sisters, Nancy Crandal and Fedelia “Dee” Genin, and her brother Lowell Edward Sevedge. Helen is survived by her daughter: Nancy Taylor of Kansas City, KS; three sons: John Tiszka and wife Lois Keller of Kansas City, KS, Thomas Tiszka and wife Rose of Kansas City, KS, and Michael Tiszka and wife Kathleen of Kansas City, KS, 8 grandchildren: Shelie Daniel and husband Brandon of Kearny, MO, Karen Tiszka of Kansas City, MO, Tanya Tiszka of Kansas City, KS, Mike Tiszka, Jr. of Kansas City, Kansas, Jessica Parker and husband Rob of Ft. Stewart, GA, Kristin Brinza of Kansas City, KS, Valerie Lopez and husband Lorenzo of Kansas City, KS and Jennifer Taylor of Kansas City, Kansas; 12 great-grandchildren: Brendon Tiszka, Colton Daniel and Cameron Daniel all of Kearny, MO, Chloe Wyrick of Kansas City, KS, Nicholas, Nathan, Shelby and Elizabeth Parker of Ft. Stewart, GA, Cortney and Kevan Watson of Kansas City, KS, Harrison and Hudson Lopez of Kansas City, KS and many relatives and friends.
Funeral Service will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, December 22, at St. Luke’s Church, 722 Reynolds in Kansas City, Kansas. Interment will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Kansas City, Kansas. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m., Wednesday, at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to the Church.
