Jamie was born February 6, 1962, in Kansas City, Kansas. Jamie spent many years working in the auto parts industry and for the last 26 years was a logistics manager for U-Haul. While Jamie took pride in her work, her true love was her family, especially her son, Johnny. She treasured family holidays, and picnics and was the first to bring out the fireworks, party poppers and confetti eggs. She lived for family get-togethers and spent as much time as possible with her family. Jamie’s other love was her husband and spending time with him on the motorcycle. If the weather was warm, you could find Jamie and Bruce cruising on the bike, often stopping in to see family & friends, just because. She loved to travel and recently took a trip to the Dominican Republic. Jamie loved easily and deeply and if she loved you, you were automatically part of her family. Jamie was soft-spoken but she had a soft heart for those who she thought were being treated unfairly and wasn’t afraid to speak up on their behalf. She will be forever missed!
Jamie was preceded in death by her parents, Jay and Mary DeMoss, brother, Danny Vaughan.
