Janice Knox, 74, of KCK, passed away Oct. 26, 2018 at the University of Kansas Medical Center. Janice was born November 19, 1943 in Dallas, Oregon to Henry and Mary Louise Hall. She attended school through 6th grade and left to help raise her siblings. Janice was joined in marriage to Donnie Knox after a whirlwind two week romance. She raised their six sons in Kansas City, spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren was her greatest joy.
Janice also enjoyed spending time in bible study, mowing the grass, putting together puzzles, and playing video games. She was an avid Chiefs and Royals fan, and her beloved dog Benji would sit with her and help cheer them on.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband, Donnie R Knox; her step-daughter, Kristina Hewitt and two granddaughters, Cassandra and Karley Knox.
Janice is survived by her sons, Donnie, Dennis, Darian, Daniel, David, and Darrell Knox; her step-children, Robert Knox, and Evelyn Rude; as well as twenty grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren, and many other relatives and friends.
