Jean Bowman, 78, Kansas City, Kansas passed away January 27, 2018. A visitation will be from 10-11 AM with a funeral service at 11 AM, Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at Chapel Hill-Butler Funeral Home, 701 N. 94th St., Kansas City, Kansas. Interment will be immediately following in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions are suggested to Children’s Mercy Hospital.
Jean was born on July 6, 1939 to John and Opal Trum. She graduated from Wyandotte High School in 1957. She retired from Mobil Oil Company in 1997.
Jean was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Jay Bowman and son-in-law, David Lamb.
Jean is survived by her children, Brenda (David) Weishaubt, Debbie (Gary) Cromer, Cathy Lamb, Mike (Amy) Bowman and Brad (Nicole) Bowman; 11 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and many other special family members.
