Jerome (JT) Hundley, passed away March 24, 2024, at the age of 72, in the loving presence of family. Jerome was born in Leavenworth, KS on July 29, 1951, to Hampton JR and Anna Frances (Roberts) Hundley,
He married Judith M. (Baich) Hundley on November 2, 1984. They resided in Basehor, KS for 39 years. He was the proud father of, Brett Hundley of Leavenworth, and Kyle (Abby) Hundley of Linwood. He adored all three of his grandchildren, Landon Hundley, Peyton Hundley, and Emmalee Hundley.
Jerome worked many years for Geiger Ready Mix and Max Rieke & Brothers.
Jerome was an avid car enthusiast. He spent countless hours tinkering in the garage, attending car shows, and cruising the open road in his beloved vehicles. One of his favorites was his race car, a 1970 Camaro, Mr. Jay. He loved sharing his passion with his sons, brothers, nephews, and other friends by spending hours conversing about hot rods and helping them work on their own cars.
Along with his wife, children, and grandchildren he is survived by three brothers, Duane Hundley, Terry (Judy) Hundley, all of Leavenworth, and Roger (Connie) Hundley of Big Springs, Kansas and a sister, Sharon (David) Tuttle of Leavenworth.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Spike Hundley, sister, Jerry Ann (Hundley) Allen and sister-in-law, Elyse Hundley
Visitation will be held at Chapel Hill Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens at 701 North 94th Street Kansas City, KS 66112 on April 1, 2024 from 5-7 p.m. Services and burial will be April 2, 2024 at 10:30 a.m.
