John B. Herriott

John B. Herriott, 23, Leavenworth, Kansas passed away November 1, 2021. A gathering of family and friends will be from 12:00 pm – 1:30 pm, Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at Chapel Hill-Butler Funeral Home, 701 N. 94th St., Kansas City, Kansas. A funeral service will begin at 1:30 pm, also at the chapel. Interment will be immediately following in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.

John was born on November 12, 1997 to John A. and Lyann M. Herriott in Shawnee Mission, Kansas and grew up in Basehor, Kansas. He graduated from Basehor Linwood High School and then obtained his HVAC degree from Kansas City Kansas Community College.

John enjoyed everything outdoors, from camping and water sports to anything related to the terrain. He had a true gift to build just about anything. He loved his hot rods and hanging with his friends.

John is preceded in passing by his grandparents; John Herriott, Gary Glise, Charles Jacobs, and Roy Masters; aunts, Karon Gibbs and Vickie Post; and uncle, Roy Herriott.

Survivors include his parents, John and Lyann Herriott; sister, Amanda Herriott; grandparents, Dorothy Glise, Deborah and Paul Redmond, and Violet Jacobs.
