Laura Becerra born September 21, 1961 passed away peacefully at KU Medical Center at the age of 60. During her time in the hospital she was given great care and constant support from her husband and children.
Laura was raised in the Turner area where she made lifelong friends and met her husband. She was an avid Chiefs fan and fisher-woman! But also loved spending time with her family at any time.
She is preceded in death by her parents John & Grace Washburn. And survived by her husband of 39 years Paul F. Becerra, children Grace (Stephen) Becerra, Sarah (Miguel) Herrera, Paul Becerra II, her brother's, John (Kathy) Washburn, Eddie (Julie) Washburn and Michael (Terri) Washburn. As well as 13 grandchildren and numerous nieces & nephews.
A visitation for Laura will be held Friday, December 17, 2021 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Chapel Hill - Butler Funeral Home, 701 North 94th Street, Kansas City, KS 66112. A funeral servicd will occur Saturday, December 18, 2021 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Chapel Hill - Butler Funeral Home.
Serving as pallbearers are John Washburn, Eddie Washburn, Joseph Becerra, Miguel Herrera, Stephen Watrak, David Hager, Mark Richards, Paul Paulakovich, Michael Washburn, Eddie Armstead and Michael Herdman.
