I met Lori when my family moved next door in the house on 47th  in the 70’s. We became best buddies in those years, attended schools together, sleep overs and going on camping trips with their family. I actually learned how to water ski on a trip to Beaver Lake with her. So many great memories! One of my favorite memories is when Lori and I would cruise Peter’s Drive-In on Saturday nights looking for hot guys! I’m going to miss you! 💔 Rest in Peace my sister. My thoughts and prayers are with my loving family.

Lorri was one of the best nurses I have ever met. Her kindness was with her in every room. On orientation, I remember her comforting  me and every family she cared for…she will live on in the hearts of all those she helped.

Lori made this advent calendar for my family. It was a surprise to me when she gifted it to me. I still put it up every year even though my kids are all grown up now. I always think of her fondly when I see it.  She was so special. ❤️Amie Henderson

One of the baby quilts that Lori made for my 3rd son Leo. She made quilts for so many of my coworkers and they were all made with so much love. She gave so much to others and I will always remember that about her. ❤️Amie Henderson

I met Lori in January 1993 when I was a new nurse to the NICU. She was so welcoming to me. She was the best mentor a nurse could ever ask for. Lori never met a stranger and every person she came in contact with felt seen and cared for. She was always willing to listen and share her knowledge or past life experiences if she thought it would be helpful. She loved to smile and laughter was always in abundance. One of the Lori-isms I remember her saying quite often was that she was “vertically challenged”! I loved her spunk and fashion that was truly her own style. I will always remember the quilts that she made for my 3 sons and also an Avent calendar that she made for our family. I still to this day put it up every year at Christmas and think of her fondly. She was cherished and will always be remembered with so much love by everyone whose lives she touched.

My condolences goes to you John, I'm so sorry for your loss. I loved Lori she was a trooper, I don't know if you remember me but my name is Linda. I'm the one that came to the hospital to see you, I had a word from God to tell you that day. But anyways it's been a long time ago, Lori love God she was a believer when it came to God. John you stay in good health, one day my friend we will see our love ones again.

Lori was a true friend and would do anything for anybody..
Fantastic with family and  and great educator for new nurses.  She will truly be missed.

Lori was a calming force in the NICU. She was an excellent preceptor to new Nurses. Lori was very knowledgeable and patient in any situation. Rest peacefully sweet lady.

I was heart broken to hear of Lori’s passing she was my mentor early in  my career, my friend and  co-worker. We taught CPR and NRP together for ten years. My first and only trip to Chicago was with Lori in 2000 for a conference. We had an amazing time that will I always cherish. 
My deepest condolences to everyone in her family.
