Melissa Ann "Missy" Ridenour

Melissa Ann Ridenour 42, of Arma, KS passed away at home on Thursday, April 15, 2010. A visitation is scheduled from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 20, 2010 at the Chapel Hill-Butler Funeral Home 701 N. 94th Street Kansas City, KS. The family has chose cremation. Burial will take place at a later date. Contributions may be made to the family to help with funeral expenses. Missy was born on February 8, 1968 in Kansas City, KS to Wayne Edward and Grace Ann (Button) Ridenour Sr. She graduated from Washington High School in 1987. She was employed by Burger King. Missy loved the outdoors along with, camping, fishing, and boating. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, coloring Tinkerbell pages, and spending her quiet time reading and crocheting. Missy was preceded in death by: her father, Wayne Ridenour Sr. who died in 2005, along with her maternal and paternal grandparents. Survivors include her children: Rebecca Hembree of Arma, KS., Erin Hembree, Vanessa DeLeon, and Antonio DeLeon all of Pittsburg, KS., Joshua DeLeon of Edwardsville, KS., mother: Grace Ann Ridenour of Kansas City, KS., one brother: Wayne Ridenour and his wife Rhoda of Bonner Springs, KS., and one sister: Kristi Anderson and her husband Kevin of Frankfort, KS. Left behind to cherish her memory are her seven grandchildren: Makayla, Samantha, Selena, Samara, Charlie, Miguel, and Brooklyn.
