Mildred Azley Young, 89, of Kansas City, Kansas, passed away February 16, 2011 in Lansing, Kansas.
Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m., Monday, February 21, at the Chapel Hill – Butler Funeral Home, 701 N. 94th Street, Kansas City, Kansas. Interment will follow in the Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Friends may call from 11:00 until service time Monday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Asara Hospice.
Mildred was born October 22, 1921 in Bollinger County, Missouri, the daughter of Matt and Radie Mungle. She was preceded in death by her husband: Lloyd J. Young and her granddaughter Julie. Survivors include her children: Carl W. Young and wife Jennifer of Basehor, Kansas, Barbara J. Steele and husband Tom of Basehor, Kansas, Jerry L. Young and wife Pat of Tonganoxie, Kansas, Jo Ann Yazel of Weston, Missouri and Ronnie G. Young of Wyandotte, County, Kansas; 11 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
