Opal Juanita Lewis, 89, of Kansas City, KS., passed away surrounded by her loving family at Providence Medical Center on Monday, December 20, 2010. Funeral Service will be 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 22, 2010 at the Chapel Hill-Butler Funeral Home. Burial in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 2:00-3:00 p.m.Wednesday, prior to the service, at the funeral home. Juanita was born on January 2, 1921 to Eli and Oma McMillian in Kansas City, KS. She lived in the Kansas City. KS. area all her life. She was a graduate of Argentine High School, and worked as a sales clerk for many years at Macy’s Department Store. She enjoyed spending her leisure time at the Lake of the Ozarks, and was a collector of antiques and antique glass. Juanita is preceded in death by her husband: Robert L. Lewis and loving daughter: Sharon K. Wright who passed away on September 5, 2010. Survivors include her son-in-law: Robert L. Wright Sr., and grandson: Robert L. Wright Jr. She is also survived by her stepchildren: Robert Lewis Jr. and his wife Janice, and Bernita (Bunny) Star and her husband Robert, and there family.
