Lyle and family,
   We are so sorry to hear of Pat’s passing.  Our hearts and prayers go out to all of you.  Pat always had a smile and a kind word.  She will be greatly missed by all that knew her.  May she rest in peace.

Patty was the best friend my mom could ever have. She picked her up for lunch so many times. My mom and I are forever grateful for the friend she was.

Lyle and family, we are so sorry for the loss of your Love Patty,  our hearts are broken for you, let God wrap his arms around your family, and give you comfort , many prayers and thoughts will be with you.

I don’t even know where to begin, because there are no words big enough to hold this kind of loss. My heart hurts so deeply for you. Losing your sister… your Patty… is a pain I know cuts in a way that nothing else can.

I keep thinking about the bond you two shared—something that started long before I was even here. A lifetime of memories, laughter, inside jokes, hard times you got through together… that kind of love doesn’t just go away. It stays, even when she’s no longer here physically.

I wish I could take even a piece of this pain from you. I hate that you’re going through this I know how strong you are but I also know how much you hurt behind people you love. But please know you are not alone in it. I’m right here with you, always. Lean on me, cry with me because you know I am a cry baby :), sit in silence with me—whatever you need, I’ve got you.

Aunt Patty will always be a part of us. In the stories we tell, in the way you love, in the strength you carry. Her presence doesn’t end here—it lives on through you, through our family, through everything she poured into this world.

Mom, I love you so much. I’m so sorry you have to feel this kind of hurt. Take all the time you need to grieve it's ok. There is no right way to do this, no timeline. Just know I’m holding you close in every way I can.

We will get through this together.

Dear Uncle Lyle, Jamie, and Michael,

My heart is truly with you all during this incredibly difficult time. There are no words that can fully ease the pain of losing someone so dear, but please know that you are surrounded by love, prayers, and support.

I hope you find comfort in the memories you shared, the love that will always remain, and the strength of family during this time. May those memories bring you peace in the days ahead.

Patty, my sister, my friend and special confidant!  It has always just been the 2 of us so we spent many, many hours together.  I remember the first day you came home with mom and dad.  A baby sister, every little girls dream.  Seems like from then on I was taking you everywhere with me, yes even on dates (to the drive-in). If you didn't go I couldn't go. I was your babysitter. I tried to give you good care.  We had a few accidents, no ones fault, but broken arms, infected knees and we lived life. I tried to take care of you and did so many years. We worked together and played together.  I didn't know we could get sick and not get well. I never thought I wouldn't have you, to talk to or go to lunch with.  But here we are,  I will miss you.  Until I see you again and can continue where we left off, I'll love you and remember all the goofy things we have done.

My heart is with you as you celebrate the life of your mom and wife. Patty was such a big part of my childhood and always made it a point to stay in touch through all of life’s chapters.  She was the neighbor that we went to first, the friend who always showed up for life’s big milestones, the person who you picked up right where you left off even if you hadn’t talked in a long while, and one of the best at helping mom keep a connection to her past.  She was special. Our family was blessed to have her in our lives. She will be missed by so many but remembered with love and gratitude.

My dearest Aunt Patty,

It’s hard to put into words what you meant to me, because you were never just my aunt—you were my friend, my safe place, and someone I could always count on. The memories we shared will stay with me forever, from the laughter-filled days to the quiet moments that meant just as much. You had a way of making everything feel lighter, warmer, and full of love.

I will always think back to the times we spent together, the simple joys that became some of the most meaningful parts of my life. Whether it was sharing meals, telling stories, or just being in each other’s company, those moments are treasures I will carry with me always.

You taught me so much without even trying—how to love deeply, how to find joy in the little things, and how important it is to cherish the people we care about. I am so grateful for every second I had with you.

Even though you’re no longer here, I know your love will never leave me. I will miss you more than words can say, but I will also smile every time I think of you, because I was so lucky to have you not just as my aunt, but as my friend.
