Rebecca Sue Sewell

Rebecca (Becky) Sue Sewell, 60, of Kansas City, Kansas passed away Monday, October 25, 2010 at the University Of Kansas Medical Center. Becky was born on September 6, 1950 in Kansas City, Kansas to Lloyd Waymond and Syble (Summers) Sewell Sr. She lived in the Kansas City area all her life. Becky worked as a Home Health Care Giver. She enjoyed the outdoors and dreamed of exploring the ocean one day. Becky is preceded in death by her father: Lloyd Waymond Sewell Sr., her infant baby daughter, and baby brother: Lloyd Waymond Sewell Jr. She is also preceded in death by her paternal grandparents: Thelma “Dine” Elizabeth Sewell and Green Eugene Sewell, maternal grandparents: Sarah Jane and John Samuel Summers. Survivors include her husband of over 30 years Robert M. Ross Jr. of the home, mother: Syble Sewell of Overland Park, Kansas, stepchildren: Spencer Dudley Ross and Nancy Louise Childers both of Kansas City, Kansas, Sarabeth Sue Ross of Smithfield North Carolina along with step grandchildren, brother: Wayne Eugene Sewell of Perry, Oklahoma, sisters: Delia Ann Meek and her husband Jim, Victoria “Vicky” Marie Gilpin and Penny Lee Franklin and her husband Barry all of Kansas City, Kansas, Sheila Jo Moravac and her husband Jeff of Overland Park, Kansas along with numerous nieces and nephews who loved her and will miss her dearly. A Memorial Service is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 26, 2010 at the Chapel Hill-Butler Funeral Home 701 N. 94th Street Kansas City, Kansas. A Private family Inurnment will take place at a later date. Memorial contributions in the name of Rebecca (Becky) Sewell may be made to the Susan G.
