Robert W. "Bill" McCoy

Robert W. “Bill” McCoy, 72, passed away June 23rd, 2015. A memorial visitation will be held Monday, June 29th at Chapel Hill-Butler Funeral Home, 701 North 94th Street, Kansas City, Kansas, 66112, Phone: 913-334-3366. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Humane Society of Greater Kansas City, 5445 Parallel Parkway, Kansas City, Kansas 66104.

Bill was born September 16, 1942 to Rolla “Barney” and Dorothy (Thomas) McCoy in Kansas City, Kansas. He grew up in Kansas City, Kansas. He served in the United States Army and did one tour during the Vietnam War. Bill and his 5 brothers operated Orion Fittings until selling their company in 2004.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Jim McCoy and a niece, Michelle McCoy. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his brothers, John (Claudette) McCoy of Olathe, Kansas, Joe (Linda) McCoy of Basehor, Kansas, Richard (Amanda) McCoy of Basehor, Kansas and Patrick McCoy of Las Vegas, Nevada; niece, Patricia (Brett) Bartley; nephew, Jeff (Sarah) McCoy; niece, Melissa (Kyle) Titterington; nephew, Michael McCoy; 8 great-nieces and nephews along with his 18 year old Pomeranian, Goldie.
