Robert E. Novich

Robert Novich, 89, of Bonner Springs, Kansas passed away Thursday, May 19, 2016. Visitation will be held Monday, May 23rd from 9:00-11:00AM with the funeral at 11:00AM at Bible Baptist Church, 426 Emerson Avenue, Bonner Springs, Kansas 66012. Interment will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, 701 North 94th Street, Kansas City, Kansas 66112. In lieu of flowers, please consider memorial donations to Bible Baptist Church.

Robert was born to John and Johanna (Orel) Novich in Kansas City, Kansas on October 7, 1926. He was a member of Teamsters 41 and 541 and worked as a mechanic. In his free time, Robert enjoyed woodworking and made a large variety of items from jewelry, small baseball bats, and afghan stands. He was a member of the Bible Baptist church and drove the church bus for 40 years.

He is preceded in death by his parents and siblings. He is survived by his wife, Marjorie; sons, Robert (Laura) Novich and Gary (Vikki) Novich; daughters, Donna Novich and Barbara (Edward) Harris; 4 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
