

Born October 18,1935 to her parents, Paul Hale and Annie Tallie in Prarie, Mississippi (Monroe County) raised along with her siblings.
Synorvia moved to Kansas City, KS during her early adult life and married George Holliday.
She worked at Bethany Hospital for many years, then worked for Hilton Hotel in Kansas City, KS., and attended Eighth Street Baptist Church.
Synorvia loved to cook. She enjoyed cooking large family dinners on Sunday’s. She was known for many dishes, including her greens and potato salad. You could find Synorvia sitting inside her screened in porch drinking her beer, playing Bingo or at her favorite spot, the Casino.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George Holliday. Her parents, Paul Hale and Annie Tallie. Her daughter, Jeanette, sons, George “Bae Bruh” Holliday and Scottie Holliday, siblings, Argusta Hale, Paul Hale, Earlene Billups, Sylvania Hale, Calvin Hale, Maurice Hale and Rose Dabney, grandsons, Greg and Trayvon.
Left to cherish her memories, sons, Bobby E. Hale, Maurice Holliday, daughter, Teresa Holliday, siblings Arlean Johnson (James), Annie Lenoir (Rueben), Willie Hale and Shirley Watson (Willie), 7 grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Many cousins, nephews, nieces, and friends.
Visitation will be held at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 701 North 94th Street, Kansas City, Kansas 66112, on May 28, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm, followed by the Funeral Service at 1:00 pm. Final resting place will be at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
