Taylor Nicole Green, age 29, of Kansas City, Kansas, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday January 16th, 2025, at her sister’s home in Basehor. Funeral services will be held at Chapel Hill-Butler Funeral Home in Kansas City, KS. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the GoFundMe “In Memory of Taylor Green” to assist family with expenses.
Taylor was born on September 10th, 1995 (Grandparents Day) in Merriam, Kansas to Tammy Crook and John Green. She grew up in Turner of Kansas City, KS and graduated from Turner High School in 2014. Taylor worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Ignite Medical Resort. She loved many things, including the Kansas City Chiefs, anything pink or sparkly, Nerds and Dr. Pepper, Crumbl Cookies, visiting grandma and grandpa’s farm, laughing and having fun, spending time with her family, and especially her dog.
Taylor is survived by her mother, Tammy Crook of Basehor, KS, father, John Green of Butler, MO, her sister Dakota [Chris] Henderson and her niece Everly of Basehor, KS, her brother Austin Green of Basehor, KS, her sister Hunter Green of Kansas City, KS, her grandparents Margaret (Jeanie) & Robert Green of Butler, MO, Joan & Joe Mehlstaub of Lenexa, KS, beloved cousins plus many more, and her absolutely cherished dog, Hennessy. Taylor is missed beyond measure and loved unconditionally, especially by her mother, with all of her heart.
